چکیده
The aim of our study is to determine the hyperaccumulatory properties by examining heavy metal accumulation (Co, Ni, Fe) in endemic Anchusa leptophlla subsp. tomentosa, Alyssum pateri pateri, Glaucium acutidentatum and non Erysimum uncinatifolium species collected from a copper mining area Elazığ Maden district. All are hyperaccumulator according their Bioconcentration Factor (BCF) values Co element. According NiBCF FeBCF values, A. E. were found be hyperacumulators. Transfer (TF) value, it determined that element can transported upper organs leptophlla, species, whereas Ni Fe elements species. Among examined, CoEF for NiEF (EF>1) all higher than 1 Enrichment (EF). It said capacities higher. In study, soils samples taken sampling Geo-accumulation index (Igeo) moderately contaminated not so polluted Fe.

Heavy metal contamination in soil and some medicinal plant species in Ahangaran lead-zinc mine, Iran
Ahangaran lead-zinc mining area located in the west part of Iran is a mountainous region. In this study, medical plants and soils from 3 different sites in this area were collected in spring 2012. Soil and medical plants were analyzed for heavy metals [lead (Pb), zinc (Zn), cadmium (Cd) and copper (Cu)] concentrations using inductively coupled plasma (ICP) optical emission spectrometer (Varian ...

Mycobacterium ulcerans, the causative agent of Buruli ulcer, is an emerging environmental bacterium in Australia and West Africa. The primary risk factor associated with Buruli ulcer is proximity to slow moving water. Environmental constraints for disease are shown by the absence of infection in arid regions of infected countries. A particularly mysterious aspect of Buruli ulcer is the fact tha...
